Whereto?

OFF you go! To the Italian coast in northern Italy, this is known as the Flower Riviera and lies west of Genoa to the French border. This part is also called 'Riviera di Ponente' (West Liguria) and is located in the Liguria region. This is a very lively and busy holiday area, along the coast at least: for Italians and non-Italians.! We go inland for another 35 minutes, leave mass tourism behind us and after a half-hour drive from the city of Imperia we arrive in a valley where it's getting a bit quieter: the 'Valle Arroscia'. Montegrosso is located in this valley at an altitude of 700 meters. From Montegrosso on - uphill - a beautiful nature area starts with an unprecedented diversity of flora & fauna. You will find peace here. Here you can hear the rustling of the creek, the birds of prey, the owls and you breathe the pure healthy mountain air.
